Compliance Specialist
Location: Clearwater
Position Overview: Under limited supervision, uses specialized knowledge and skills in banking industry compliance obtained through experience and/or specialized training to ensure compliance with all banking rules and regulations. Helps coordinate compliance functions and liaisons between functional areas, including training. Responsible for performing Compliance and BSA monitoring that entails researching systems, reports and records as well as interactions with other departments and branches within the bank. This will require the ability to analyze new account documentation, respond to requests for information and regulatory inquiries, while also providing research supporting those requests. Will need to review various reports, such as system defined reports or query based reports. It will require the ability to perform investigative research, utilizing BAM and other in house systems.
Requirements:
- Requires detailed analysis, solid knowledge of the banking regulations, the banks policies and records.
- Requires prior banking Regulatory Compliance in areas such as Loans, Deposits and BSA.
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage through confrontational issues successfully and tactfully.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong analytical skills and good judgment.
Assistant Controller
Location: Clearwater Operation Center
Position Overview: Assists in all phases of accounting management.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent.
- A CPA is required.
- Four to six years related experience and/or training.
- Working knowledge of forecasting and financial reports.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret economic conditions and anticipate the impact on the organization.
- Basic competence in duties and tasks of supervised employees.
- Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.
- Ability to work with all levels of management.
Lending Assistant (Commercial Real Estate)
Location: Downtown Tampa
Position Overview: Assist loan officer in processing loans and provide customer service to existing clients.
Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Two or three years lending assistant experience required.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Must be proficient with word processing and spreadsheet software programs
